What are your full blown obsessions?: Family and Diamond IT
What do you want to be remembered for?: Being a humble leader. That I put the needs of others before my own. I am coachable. Apologetic for my mistakes. Inspired to not be defined by them but to make the most of the lessons from them. I want to be remembered as a “helper” and “protector” for those who cannot help or protect themselves.
What did you want to be when you grew up?: I wanted to be either a Rock Star or a famous stunt man like Evel Knevel.
Do you have a hidden talent?: Skeet Shooting
What inspires you to do your best work?: Please tell me I ‘cannot’ do, be or achieve something – and that is the surest way to inspire me into action. The harder the challenge or problem, the more driven I am to solve it. Building something out of nothing inspires me to continue to push forward to deliver solutions to challenging problems that clients face.

What do you want to be remembered for?: It’s important that people know that I love my family & friends. I care about all people and want the best for all.
What did you want to be when you grew up?: I wanted to be an entertainer. I watched a lot of TV and wanted to be a star.
Do you have a hidden talent?: I use to dance a lot ,and played several instruments through high school. (Not sure if you can call it talent, more like noise)
What inspires you to do your best work?: First and foremost my family. I push so that they can have the best. Next would be my Diamond IT family. They are a major inspiration. Seeing how hard everyone works and is Customer Obsessed makes me strive to be the best. And last but not least, knowing that what we do helps our clients and motivates me to push to be better every day!

What is your passion?: Being outdoors is what I look forward to, enjoying the mountains as well as beautiful beaches.
What are your full blown obsessions?: I love having all of my kids, grandkids and parents over for Sunday dinners.

What did you want to be when you grew up?: Dolphin Trainer
What inspires you to do your best work?: I find it very rewarding to work in the family-like environment that Diamond IT offers, and am always very motivated to do whatever it takes to assist the employees with anything they may need.
Jeremy Meighan

What do you want to be remembered for? Always doing the right thing, even when it’s not easy
What did you want to be when you grew up? History teacher
Do you have a hidden talent? Jeremy is an excellent marksman and was always good at tying Boy Scout knots.
What inspires you to do your best work? My family inspires me to do better and be more every day.
Jeremy is a Bakersfield native and a graduate of Bakersfield College. He has been with Diamond IT for over 15 years and worked his way from an entry level service technician all the way to senior systems engineer.
His thought leadership as a Virtual Chief Technology Officer is instrumental in defining policy and strategically aligning solutions for Diamond IT and its clients. He has certifications from CompTIA, Cisco, and Microsoft with specializations in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Cloud Productivity platforms.
Cody Cooper

Interesting hobby: Cody has over 5 years of experience running Dungeons & Dragons for Diamond IT employees.

What do you want to be remembered for?: Being a good father and standing up for those who can’t do it themselves

What inspires you to do your best work? My team. Their hard work and their respect is what drives and pushes a leader to achieve great things. Challenge and nurture in equal measure so that you find yourself surrounded by the best, so you are constantly forced to better yourself to keep up. Thank you Team!!
Cody Cooper is one of many veteran’s at Diamond IT, having spent the early part of his career working stateside and overseas with the 82ND Airborne Division. Before that he grew up on a farm in Colorado. After returning to Bakersfield with his new family he settled down at Diamond IT and, drawing upon his security & IT experience in the military, he quickly worked his way up to Diamond’s expert on the matter and now spends most of his days asleep with his eyes open, ever watchful for threats to our customers, to Diamond IT, and the community.
Zachary Hilbish

Since 2014, Zachary has brought a positive attitude to the Diamond IT team. He loves everything about the technology field and continues to work hard to continue to grow in his position. Zachary is always willing to lend a hand and jump in wherever his team needs him which reminds him a lot of his favorite movie The Avengers. In his free time he makes sure to spend quality time with his family and friends.
Garret Ullal
NOC ManagerWhere are you originally from?: A very small town called Aptos, CA in the Santa Cruz hills
Interesting hobby: I run a private WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider) for my family.
Special achievements: I studied for and took the Putnam Challenge/Competition (which is a very hard mathematical test.)
Quirky fact: My wife and I have 10 Chickens and frequently hand out home grown eggs.
What is your passion?: Technology, Networks
What are your full blown obsessions?: I really enjoy challenging optimization problems.
What did you want to be when you grew up?: Mad Scientist.
Do you have a hidden talent?: I used to sing in High School and College. Jazz mostly.
While not from Bakersfield originally, Garret Ullal is a local college graduate of California State University, Bakersfield with a degree in Computer Engineering and a focus in digital communications and robotics.
He is a former Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, where he served overseas for 3 years in the European theater as a Security Forces Marine. While not at work, Garret raises chickens in his backyard, tinkers with technology, and continuously studies and reviews new and emerging technology.
